Under Fair Usage Policy, data usage limit applies on pocket wifi rentals, and additional charge will be levied for overage data usage. Please refer to below table for details:

NOTE:  Promotional Discounts cannot be combined.  If the Booking is qualified for more than one Promotional Discount scheme, the higher discount scheme will be used to calculate final rental fee.

 Fair Usage Policy:

Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is the telecommunication industry attempt to keep internet traffic at reasonable levels to protect fairness to all users. The policy was designed to avoid severe and unparallel downloading/uploading. Service providers (i.e. mobile network operators) have the right to terminate, suspend and/or restrict one’s data usage and speed at anytime without prior notice. As a fair user, all customers of Simul must refrain from all heavy downloading/uploading activities, such as but not limited to: video streaming, movie downloading, online gaming, video calls, etc. Simul will not be responsible for any consequence resulting from such actions, and customer will be responsible for all fees that maybe implied by service provider.

 Late Fees:

If the rental pocket wifi device and accessories are not returned at the airport KLIA2 before scheduled device return date as specified in the contract, a late penalty equivalent to "rental day rate x 1.5 times" will be charged per each late day, 6%GST applies.

 Cancellation Policy:

After a payment is made, a customer may cancel his/her booking at anytime, with the following cancellation fees applied:

  • Cancel more than 7 days prior to departure, a 30% administration fee will be deducted from total rental fee, remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.

  • Cancel within 7 days prior to departure, a 50% administration fee will be deducted from total rental fee, remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.

  • Cancel after the rental device has been picked-up or couriered-out, only security deposit will be returned to the customer.
